As reported by many recruiting websites- I saw it on Rivals.com first, talented power-forward C.J. Leslie from Word of God Academy will be joining an outstanding recruiting class at N.C. State this upcoming basketball season. Leslie will join point-guard Ryan Harrow and shooting-guard Lorenzo Brown, two very talented guards for Coach Sidney Lowe next season.
Leslie is rated 11th overall in the 2010 class, and will provide much needed help in the low-post along with force Tracy Smith.
I can tell you that the scene and buzz around campus is mind-blowing. Students who found out in classrooms, lecture halls, and on buses were going crazy.
More good news could come from Raleigh this week as 3-star small-forward Tashawn Mabry from Rocky Mount, NC, could join the Wolfpack, filling in the open spot left by transferring Julius Mays.
